New Expo Dry Erase Markers

Expo has a new set of retractable dry erase markers that are BOTH non-toxic AND low odor. The set includes three markers: blue, black and red. The tip is a fine point and they work great. The markers are slim making them easier to hold.

The bar code number is 0-7164101056-7. I found them at Staples. Remember, not all Expo markers are both non-toxic and low-odor, so make sure all four words are on the package before purchasing the markers.

Looking for Places to Find Non-Toxic Markers

Office Depot has stopped carrying their Foray brand of non-toxic markers. If anyone knows of any place to find non-toxic, low-odor markers, please let me know! They must be BOTH non-toxic AND low-odor.

You'll need to educate the person who purchases office supplies. Many do not know the dangers of toxic permanent and dry erase markers.

A Challenge to Offices Around the World

For 2009, I challenge you to get rid of all your toxic markers (regular and dry erase) and replace them with safe, non-toxic, low-odor markers. Your lungs will thank you.

Just a reminder that when you go into your office supply store, you have to ask for both non-toxic AND low odor markers! Office Depot has some great non-toxic, low odor markers (their own brand), and you can check other office supply stores as well. Keep your office (and home) free of fumes from the toxic marker pens.
